Gentle Yoga & Sound Bath Savasana is a 60-minute specialty class, offered monthly to help connect mind-body-spirit and assist with stress reduction.
Gentle yoga is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. This gentle class allows for more warm up movements and the yoga postures are often held for longer times. Modifications are done to help people of all fitness levels enjoy the benefits of yoga without putting themselves at risk for injuries.
The meditation, Savasana, portion is provided with live, in-person healing sound instruments such as gongs, chimes and drums. Bathing in the sound vibration works at a deep cellular level to guild the body, mind and emotions toward rest, recover and inner peace.
