Vinyasa focuses strongly on both linking movement to breath and maintaining alignment. Class begins with an intentional warm-up incorporating sun salutations, followed by a creative flow through a number of different postures (which vary from class to class). We seek a balance between movement and stillness, between sthira (strength) and sukha (lightness). As we begin the playful exploration of more challenging postures, variations will be provided to fit each students’ practice.
